Making a donation to The Arches

We aim to meet people’s urgent practical needs
We aim to provide furniture, household goods, baby equipment, and emergency food for those in need in Nottingham. In the last year, we’ve seen and supported over 2,700 visitors and we’ve delivered over 3,200 items free of charge, travelling over 6,500 miles across Nottinghamshire.
Practical donations
For us to continue to meet the practical needs of our visitors, we rely on charitable donations of furniture, household items and baby equipment.
A large portion of our donations come from Trent Vineyard church members and the public, occasionally supplemented through our partnerships with other organisations like universities, local councils and businesses.
High quality, luxury and designer items
Sometimes we receive high quality, luxury and designer donations that we sell via Arches Attic, online, offsite or at auction. This helps us to generate funds we can re-invest into The Arches and buy essential furniture or household items to meet the needs of our visitors.
Dropping off your donations
You can drop off your donations during our opening hours on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays between 10am and 12:30pm.
How to find us
Collecting your donations
We can sometimes collect larger donations if you’re within our collection area. Our vans are usually booked 1 to 3 weeks in advance. Give us a call on 0115 9508774 during our opening hours.
